Care

All Woodbrick items are handmade with repurposed fabric and therefore cannot guarantee the wear life of each unique textile. To conserve and preserve, spot clean or wash in a delicate bag and hang to dry. Signs of previous life (ex. small stains, or fabric fading) are endemic to the upcycling process and add to the story of each piece.

Even the smallest fabric scraps need to be recycled!

For just $4, you can help me recycle all the teeny, tiny fabric scraps from my sewing projects. I partner with The Green Thimble, a sewing store dedicated to making sewing as eco-friendly as possible. They run a recycling program with Debrand in the Lower Mainland, BC, ensuring that textile waste is given a second life. Through Debrand, scraps can be transformed into fiber fill, insulation, or even energy, keeping them out of landfills and reducing pollution. It's a small step with a big impact on our planet!
