Woodbrick is located on the traditional, unceeded territories of the lək̓ʷəŋən People known today as the Songhees and Kosapsum (Esquimalt) nations.
I recognize the presence of these Indigenous peoples here since time immemorial and honour their ongoing connection to the land, water and ancestors. I strive everyday to lessen my impact on this land, on which I am a visitor.
