Meet Emily
she/her • sewist & creative
I’ve been sewing since I was a preteen, inspired by my mom’s love of interior design and theatre production, and I’ve spent years working with textiles, creating costumes, and dreaming up ways to breathe new life into old fabrics. Now, I get to do what I love most: turn secondhand materials into one-of-a-kind pieces for kids and adults who care about sustainability and style.
I believe in making more from what’s already out there. Every bag, accessory, and piece of clothing is handmade by me using exclusively secondhand-sourced textiles. That means each item is completely unique, informed by the story behind the fabric, and designed to last longer than fast fashion.

I love seeing how excited people get when they discover that their Woodbrick piece was created from something once unwanted, now made into something uniquely theirs. It’s like being part of a secret club—where fashion meets sustainability, and everyone’s in on the joy of making thoughtful, low-impact purchases.

Sustainability
I make more by using what’s already out there. Every piece I create is from secondhand materials, reducing waste and encouraging thoughtful consumption—because fashion shouldn’t cost the planet.
-
Craftsmanship
Every piece is handmade by me, with my heart and hands working together. I believe in creating pieces that are not only beautiful but functional, so they can be loved and used for years to come.
-
Community
I’m all about connection—whether it’s through fabric, folks met, or other local makers. When you choose Woodbrick, you’re joining a community that cares about sustainability and supporting small businesses like mine.
-
Authenticity
What you see is what you get with me. No secrets, just stories. I’m open about where my materials come from and how I make each piece, so you can feel good knowing exactly what you’re wearing.
